Government of Ireland International Education scholarship is open to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria below
- Commitment to pursue their studies and demonstrate how the Ireland Government Scholarship aligns with their career goals in the long run
- Country of origin from any country except the United Kingdom, Russia, Switzerland, EU/EEA, and Belarusian citizens
- Previous beneficiaries of GOI-IES Scheme are not qualified to apply for the Government fully funded Scholarship in Ireland for International Students

The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship applicants are expected to meet three basic eligibility criteria before commencing with their applications.
The basic eligibility for the Ireland Government Scholarship 2025, GOI_IES include being a native of an eligible country, an admission offer from the GOI-IES partnering Higher Institutions, and not being a former recipient of Ireland government International Education Scholarships for international students.
