    Eligibility

    There are set requirements for the MTN undergraduate Scholarship candidates. Meet the following eligibility and stand a chance to win the MTN scholarship.

    • Be a student in any of the Nigerian public tertiary institution (Polytechnic, College of Education, and University)
    • Candidates applying for the MTN Science & Technology Scholarship have to be in 300 Level. Anyone who just finished 200 Level and is starting 300 Level is eligible for the scholarship. Also, students currently in 300 Level are eligible to apply
    • Applicants for the MTN Scholarship for the Blind have to be in 200 or 300 Level. Blind students studying a 5-year course like law are eligible to apply in their 300 Level
    • STEM Students in Colleges of Education and Universities must have minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or 3.5/5.0 Whereas STEM students in Polytechnics must have minimum of 3.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and admission offer for Higher National Diploma (HND) program in a public university in Nigeria
    • Direct Entry STEM students must have at least 3.0 CGPA (Upper credit) in Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and received admission offer from a public higher institution in Nigeria for 300 Level
    • Blind Students in public Colleges of Education or Universities must possess at least 2.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)
    • Blind Students in Public Polytechnics must have at least 2.0 CGPA from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) Program alongside admission offer into the Higher National Diploma (HND) program
